Who We are?
Buffalo Homes is the Mexican Branch of Buffalo Construction. We specialize in building custom homes for retiring ex-patriots looking to relocate, vacation property owners and those looking for foreign investment opportunities.
What We do?
Currently, we are building homes on the Grand Bahia Principe Resort property between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum, Mexico, on the Mayan Riviera. The Grand Bahia Principe is composed of 4 resorts located on the property: Akumal, Sian Ka’an, Coba and Tulum. Please see the link below for more information on the resort.

Grand Bahia Principe Resort
Your resort home is located just 1 hour from the Cancun airport. Bahia is a fully gated community surrounded by lush virgin jungle and walking distance to the ocean. As a home owner, you will have full access to the resort with the exception of food and drink which can be purchased at your leisure for the current fee of $60 USD a day. The monthly fee for living on the resort is currently a modest $45 USD.
The resort includes several restaurants, pools (including a swim with the dolphins pool), shopping, multiple venues with nightly entertainment, casinos, spas, Mayan sweat lodge, gyms and two golf courses. As well, you will have access to a private beach and restaurant only accessible to home owners.
Within a half an hour of the resort, there are the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum, Eco-parks Xcaret and Xel-Ha, the popular tourist city Playa Del Carmen, and the island of Cozumel. You can enjoy world-class snorkeling and scuba diving along 80 miles of pristine beaches.
The Villa Verano Buffalo model is constructed on a 342 square meter or 3,681 square foot lot with 40 feet of frontage. The villa itself comprises 160 square meters or 1,722 square feet of living space. A distinctive feature of our homes is that they are constructed to Canadian building standards, which means you can be assured of quality.
We offer a unique investment opportunity by incorporating 2 fully separate units into our Villa Verano Buffalo model. This allows you, as an investor to rent out your property to two separate people at once giving you a higher rate of return on your investment. Or as retiring ex-patriot seeking temporary or permanent relocation to Mexico you have the ability to generate supplementary income by renting out one of the units while you continue to enjoy living in the other.
Other unique features of our homes include a rooftop Jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen as well as a 17.5 square meter or 188 square foot in-ground pool in the backyard. Our floorplans include a fully open concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances on both floors. Your home will be fully connected to city water, sewage and electrical services. Each room is serviced by its own air conditioning unit allowing you to cool your home in an energy efficient manner. Each home also includes a charging station for your electric golf cart or scooter providing you with easy access to the entire resort and its amenities.
During the construction process, our lots are equipped with a fully controllable HD camera which allows you watch your home being constructed live at any time, even from your phone! This is meant to give you the added comfort of transparency that everything is progressing to your specifications and in a timely fashion.
